The Jamieson Family has been in the insurance business in Vermont since 1865. The Agency is currently in its second generation of family ownership with the transfer of ownership from Dick Jamieson to Jon Jamieson in 2004.

The Waitsfield Office

Jon has worked in the industry since 1992, both in the agency business and for insurance companies. Jon has been a Certified Insurance Counselor since 1995 and believes that personal attention and professional advice are just as important to the customer as a competitive price. The Agency has a committment to community service demonstrated by both time and financial support for numerous organizations.

Jon utilizes the area's mountains, lakes, and rivers as an avid skier, mountain biker, and fisherman.

Our offices are conveniently located to serve all of central and northern Vermont. The Waitsfield office, on Route 100, serves the Mad River Valley, Montpelier/Barre and surrounding areas. The Richmond office serves greater Burlington and the Champlain Valley.

Directions to
Waitsifeld Office

From I-89 in Vermont, take exit 9 or 10, proceed south on Rt. 100B or 100 approximately 13 miles to Waitsfield, passing through Waitsfield Village and Irasville. As you round the sharp curve on Rt. 100 at the intersection of Rt. 17, Jamieson's Office is the second building on your left.

From the south, travel north on Rt. 100. Approx. 2 miles after the Sugarbush Access Road, as you approach Irasville Village, Jamieson's Office is on your right before the intersection of Rt. 17.

From I-89 in Vermont, take exit 11, proceed east on Rt. 2 approximately 1 mile to Richmond. At the traffic light, Jamieson Insurance Agency's office is on the left in the Browns Trace building. Parking and entrance in rear of building.
